I tried this stuff out today and honestly? I love it. I already plan on buying more. Not only is it super easy to use, but it also leaves your legs feeling so soft and smooth. Plus, I love the gel consistency. You just apply the gel, shave as you normally would with a razor, then apply more as a post-shave moisturizer. Hair collects in the back of the razor to throw away when you’re ready.

Another great thing about it: it’s environmentally friendly, which I love. First of all, you don’t need to use water while you’re shaving with it. 8 Tips for Giving Your Hair More Volume

Getting big, beautiful, voluminous hair is kind of difficult for me. My hair is actually decently thick, but it usually just lays flat on my head and it’s hard for me to give it body.

I know all about trying to add volume to flat hair. Sometimes things work for me and sometimes they don’t.

But in case you’re in the same boat as me, I thought I’d share 8 ways that I add volume to my hair!

1. Use a volumizing shampoo.

If you want more volume in your hair, use a volumizing shampoo and conditioner. I don’t normally use conditioner so if you don’t need it then, of course, skip it, but at least use a volumizing shampoo.

 

2. Use a mousse.

While my hair is still wet, fresh out of the shower, I apply a mousse. I apply it to my hair and then use a blow dryer to my roots and dry it.

 

3. Go easy on the products.

I really don’t use very many hair products all that often, but I definitely don’t add a bunch to my hair at one time. I go easy on them because they just weigh my hair down more.

 

4. Clip it up while drying.

If you don’t like to use a hair dryer on your hair, then get jaw clips and put it up in a high pouf to let it air dry. This lifts your roots and adds body to them.

 

5. Curl your hair.

Dry shampoos are great for adding volume to dirty hair, but they can also add volume to clean hair too. Sometimes I use them after I blow-dry my hair.

 

8. Switch your part.

Sometimes I switch my part to the other side and it’s the easiest way to add a good amount of instant volume.
