It’s no secret that I’m a huge bookworm. I read a lot, and I read on a wide variety of subjects and genres.
It’s also no secret that self-love and confidence are super important to me. I wish every woman loved herself and felt totally comfortable with who she is!
So, today I thought I’d share 5 of my favorite books to help with self-love and confidence. I hope you decide to read one or two (or all) of them to help you learn to fully love who you are!
5 best books on self-love and confidence:
1. The Champagne Diet: Eat, Drink, and Celebrate Your Way to a Healthy Mind and Body!
The Champagne Diet is honestly one of my favorite books ever. Cara Alwill Leyba is one of my role models and she’s such a talented writer too. This book is for women who want to feel good about themselves and their bodies. It teaches you how to incorporate healthy habits into your life, change the way you view yourself, and help you feel more empowered. If you want to learn how to accept your body, this book is for you!
2. The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom
The Four Agreements is SUCH a helpful book. It discusses self-limiting beliefs that are holding you back, and other simple but heavy lessons on how to love yourself. This book focuses on how to change your life and be happier by changing thought patterns and negative emotions. If you want to be happier and more healthy mentally, this book is for you!
3. Love Yourself: A Journey of Self-Care, Self-Acceptance, and Total Self-Love
You know I had to include this book here, right? 😉 Love Yourself (my book!) is all about just what the title says: teaching you how to love yourself more. I talk about how to practice self-care properly, how to accept yourself for who you are, how to build a life you love, and more. If you’re in need of some serious self-love or just don’t know where to start with it, this book is for you. You can order the paperback, Kindle version, or PDF now!
A lot of people think that #GIRLBOSS is supposed to be a business or entrepreneur book but honestly, that’s not what I got out of it. It’s honestly pretty light on business tips. What I got out of it was the fact that Sophia went from being a petty theft-committing teen to a totally badass business woman. It’s so empowering to read stories like hers. It makes me feel more confident! So if you’re a blogger/business owner in need of a confidence boost or some help believing in yourself, this is the book for you!
5. Present Over Perfect: Leaving Behind Frantic for a Simpler, More Soulful Way of Living
Present Over Perfect is another really great book. In this modern age, being busy is somehow seen as being better – even though that’s so not true. This book talks about how we can show ourselves more grace and give ourselves more rest. Stop being a frazzled mess, let go of the pressure, and learn how to allow yourself to rest. If this is something you need to learn to do, this book is for you!
